Local screen printer and illustrator Charlotte Farmer has been busy creating an entirely unique work of art celebrating the best of Milsom Place!
Showcasing the carefully curated selection of tenants alongside the distinguished history of the site in the heart of Bath (which includes tigers, horses and Gainsborough, no less), Charlotte brings to life the story of Milsom Place in her inimitable style with this bespoke commission.
Charlotte studied at Saint Martin’s, gaining a masters in Communication Design, specialising in illustration and has subsequently created illustrations for clients as varied as Waitrose, The Sunday Times Style Magazine, The Washington Post, Clinique, Air France, Mini Boden, Tatler and Elle!
In her own words… “My favourite things include (not necessarily in this order): drawing, screenprinting, super-bright colour combinations, making maps, coffee, collecting a variety of brush pens for hand lettering and a very spoilt cat called Margo. The screen prints I create often involve collections of things from snowglobes, pottery figures or ice creams to tropical birds and animals. I love collections because of the way they bring together unexpected combinations of objects and characters.”
