Throughout July, local illustrator and artist, Marian Hill shares her fascinating display of artworks exploring British insects, flora and fauna alongside two kids collaging workshops on Sunday 17 July.
Marion produced these insect illustrations for a collaborative project with Bathscape and entomologist Mike Williams, aiming to raise awareness and appreciation of insects and the vital role they play in our city.
Marian Hill
Marian Hill works as an illustrator/artist and tutor of illustration at UWE Bristol. Specialising in collage for her commissioned work, she has produced illustrations for many publishers, magazines and was selected to design a Royal Mail postage stamp for the London Paralympics in 2012.
Observing the developing ecological crisis has filled Marian with deep concern and provided the impetus to create a project which uses both teaching and illustration skills to help make a positive difference and protect our local wildlife in Bath and the surrounding area.
