Fringe Arts Curated Show - The Octagon - 29th May-13th June

Annette Smith: Her work responds to the sites of several old faded shop signs around Bath where the narrative of the city is being slowly erased or eroded. With these ghost signs, traces of the past - though apparently superseded and largely ignored - still co-exist with the present.

Elizabeth Molin: Photographs exploring different ways of thinking about and looking at reality. By changing and modifying existing spaces, she creates new contexts and opportunities for perceiving the spaces and reality differently for a moment: a momentary alteration of perception

Home and Away: Does our idea of ‘home’ change the more we travel, or does it only come into  existence when we leave physical reality behind? This show asks poignant questions about spatial identity, geographical belonging & the passage of time. Artists: Ting-Ting Cheng; Joanna Zylinska; Chu Yin-Hua; Alexandra Wolkowicz; Barney & Lucy Heywood

Fotonow: looks at the idea of tourism in Cornwall; the changing face of a rural idyll; the journeys made by those that venture over the bridge and what could become of tourism in an increasingly digital world.
Artists: Olly Udy; Jon Blyth; Matt Pontin; Timothy Mills

Origami Crane Aviaryan installation of 200 recycled polypropylene origami cranes.
