Final Year Students will showcase their work in Bath before taking their collections to London to show to the National and International Fashion Industry and Press at Graduate Fashion Week in June.
The Graduate Fashion Show is the culmination of work completed on the BA (Hons) Fashion Design Course and showcases the final collections designed, created and made by the students.
These collections will be showcased on professional catwalk models from London and the show will be produced by internationally renowned show producer John Walford, one of the founders of Graduate Fashion Week and Founder and Director of Vauxhall Fashion Scout, who has worked with designers including Vivienne Westwood, Hussein Chalayan and Ashish, and is currently the Director of Shanghai Fashion Week.
We will also be showcasing some second year work produced by the new Oxfam Boutique in Bath. This work is part of the Oxfam 'Reinvented' scheme where 'Reinvented' bespoke, one-off designs are created using second-hand fabric and garments that could not otherwise be sold.
Previous graduates are now working with such brands as Republic, Jasmine de Milo, Erdem, William Tempest, New Look, Collette Dinnigan in Sydney, Giles, Levi in Brussels, Bastyan, French Connection, Joseph and Mulberry.
