Balloon over Bath Art Exhibtion - 26th April - 2nd May
Bea Gibson, winner of the Harry Walker Young Artists Prize and Peoples Choice Award in the Bath Society of Artists 99th Annual Exhibition, presents her first solo exhibition in Bath - A preview to her London show.
Predominantly working in oils, Bea's paintings focus on urban landscapes of her hometown of Bath and London. Her work conveys the atmosphere of a place because of her unexpected colour palette which dramatises a scene by the creation of a particular light.
She will alo be showing works illustrating what she loves about London. - The vibrant music scene. From paintings of a Lily Allen gig to the Brixton Academy at sunset, Bea captures the excitement of live music in the Capital.
Bea will be painting in the space and will warmly welcome anyone who has time to drop by.
